Currently 5% YES, flat over 24h — ProbCast reads this as a watch-level move on mixed conditions (Trust 26/100).
Little 24h change — nothing confirmed to watch yet.
From the latest trade tape (most recent 200 prints) — a live activity sample, not a lifetime total.
The price hasn't updated recently and volume is light, so it may not yet reflect the latest information. Treat the latest print as possibly lagging, not settled.
Read the latest price with caution; conditions make it an unreliable summary right now.
This market resolves YES if, by 2026-08-31 23:59:59 UTC, Anthropic has publicly released a model officially branded Claude Opus 4.9. YES requires both official Anthropic branding or documentation using Claude Opus 4.9, and public availability to at least one customer tier or public developer channel by the deadline. Availability through claude.ai, Claude Code, the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or Microsoft Foundry counts if Anthropic officially identifies the available model as Claude Opus 4.9. NO examples: rumors, leaks, benchmarks, private beta access only, safety/system cards without public access, or a differently branded release such as Claude Opus 5, Claude 5, Sonnet, Haiku, Fable, or Mythos unless Anthropic also officially brands it as Claude Opus 4.9 by the deadline. A statement that Opus 4.9 is planned for a later date does not count unless public Opus 4.9 access exists by the deadline. Use official Anthropic product announcements, release notes, model documentation, or availability pages as the primary resolution sources. If official sources conflict, use the source that most directly establishes public availability by the deadline. Creation context: Anthropic announced Claude Opus 4.8 on May 28, 2026 and said it was available that day; the Anthropic model overview described Opus 4.8 as the most capable Opus-tier model when checked at creation. Related non-duplicates: - Generic Claude 5 or next-Claude markets are not exact duplicates because this resolves NO if Anthropic skips Opus 4.9. - Claude Opus 4.x release-date bucket markets are not exact duplicates unless they specifically contain an unresolved Aug 31 / before-Sep-1 Opus 4.9 threshold. - Sonnet, Haiku, Fable, Mythos, and non-Opus releases are not exact duplicates. Weakly supported. Treat this number skeptically. Main caveat: thin liquidity.
Low resolution risk: clear source, threshold, and deadline leave little room for ambiguity.
