A candid account of what ProbCast tracks — and what it doesn't. We prioritize markets relevant to macro, politics, crypto, technology, AI, and geopolitics; some sports-heavy or low-signal markets are excluded from default views. Every number below is read live from the current market set, not hand-curated.
Kalshi coverage is a curated list of series — markets relevant to macro, politics, crypto, technology, AI, and geopolitics — not the full exchange. New series are added deliberately rather than ingested wholesale, so a Kalshi market you expect may simply be outside the curated set.
Categories are inferred from each market's text, so a market sits in exactly one bucket. “Active” counts only markets with real volume or liquidity.
Sports-heavy and low-signal markets are excluded from default views by a heuristic title filter (isSportsMarket). It matches match-style fixtures, player stat props, multi-leg parlays, and per-game point/run lines. Because it is heuristic, it can occasionally over- or under-exclude; it is tuned to keep the default surface focused on durable, macro-relevant probability.
Examples screened out of default views: single-game match results, player point/run/strikeout props, multi-leg parlays, and per-game over/under lines — so the default surface keeps a clear, macro-relevant signal.
Last successful fetch 3 minutes ago.
When a fresh fetch fails or returns empty, ProbCast falls back to the last successful (stale-but-real) snapshot rather than blanking the page — so a number on screen is always real data, even if it's a few minutes old.
Reading live markets and time-series history from durable storage.
ProbCast does not claim complete coverage of any venue. These limits are known and intentional:
Kalshi is a curated series list, not the full exchange — markets outside the curated set are not tracked.
Sports-heavy and low-signal markets are excluded from default views by a heuristic filter, which can occasionally over- or under-exclude.
New or just-listed markets with no volume or liquidity stay searchable but are kept out of movers and other featured views until they show real activity.
Venue data is aggregated from third parties and may be delayed; a probability shown here can lag the venue.
Coverage skews toward durable, macro-relevant questions; short-lived or hyper-local markets may be absent.
Coverage counts describe what we observe, not a recommendation to take any position. ProbCast provides prediction-market data and analytics for informational purposes only. Not financial, trading, betting, investment, legal, or tax advice.
