BCI + AI Hivemind before 2050?
Too little market data to assess this move — treat the probability with caution.
This venue reports too little volume or book data for this market to judge the trading behind the price.
How credible was the move?
Three separate questions — a move can be genuine while the latest price is still settling. Methodology →
Move validity
Is the move backed by real trading and depth?
Insufficient dataThis venue reports too little volume or book data for this market to judge the trading behind the price.
Consensus stability
Has the market settled at the new probability?
StableThe probability has held near its current level over the past several hours.
Contract clarity
Will the rules resolve without ambiguity?
HighThe resolution rules are relatively specific, with a named source and a defined deadline.

What this market actually measures
Will there exist a population of individuals with BCI and Ai capabilities that act as a hivemind before 2050? Resolution criteria This market resolves to YES if, by December 31, 2049, at 11:59 PM UTC, there is credible, public verification of a group of 4 or more humans who use brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and artificial intelligence (AI) to function as a "hivemind" or collective intelligence network.
This summary shows the opening of the venue's official rules. ProbCast has not yet generated an independent plain-English interpretation for this contract — review the full rules before relying on it.

To resolve YES, the following conditions must be met: BCI & AI Integration: Group members must utilize functional, active brain-computer interfaces (invasive or non-invasive) that are integrated with AI systems. Direct Cognitive Synchrony: The system must allow direct brain-to-brain or brain-to-AI-to-brain communication, facilitating the pooling of thoughts, sensory data, motor outputs, or decisions without relying on traditional manual or verbal communication (e.g., speaking, typing, or standard screens). Public Verification: The existence and function of this group must be documented in a peer-reviewed scientific journal (such as Nature or Science) or reported by at least three reputable media organizations (e.g., MIT Technology Review, Reuters, Bloomberg, Wired). The documentation must explicitly describe the group as acting as a "hivemind," "collective mind," "brainet," or a functionally equivalent networked intelligence. If no such group is publicly documented and verified by the deadline, this market resolves to NO. Background Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) have transitioned from laboratory animal tests to human clinical trials. Companies like Neuralink, Synchron, and Blackrock Neurotech are actively developing interfaces to restore motor function, and eventually, to enable high-bandwidth human-to-computer communication. In academic research, scientists have previously linked animal brains to form "Brainets" (biological computers), demonstrating that rats or monkeys can collaborate on computational or motor tasks via shared neural signals. **Ref (needs to be checked) Within transhumanist literature, the scaling of high-bandwidth BCIs and AI assistants is frequently projected to lead to cybernetic hive minds. Proponents of "the Merge" suggest that such systems could allow humans to bypass the physical limitations of speech and writing, enabling hyper-coordination and collective superintelligence. What's happening
Thin book and/or wide spread. Small orders can move this price disproportionately, so any single print is noisy and easily overread.
