Resolution criteria This market resolves to YES if any actor who portrayed a player on the Men's AFC Richmond team roster during Seasons 1–3 of Ted Lasso makes an on-screen appearance (cameo, guest star, or recurring) in any episode of Ted Lasso Season 4. This market resolves to NO if the final episode of Season 4 airs and no such actor has made an appearance. Eligible players include, but are not limited to, the actors portraying: Phil Dunster (Jamie Tartt) Toheeb Jimoh (Sam Obisanya) Cristo Fernández (Dani Rojas) Kola Bokinni (Isaac McAdoo) Billy Harris (Colin Hughes) David Elsendoorn (Jan Maas) Stephen Manas (Richard Montlaur) Moe Jeudy-Lamour (Moe Bumbercatch) Moe Hashim (Thierry Zoreaux / Van Damme) Maximilian Osinski (Zava) Exclusions: Main characters who are former players but are already confirmed as core Season 4 cast members (such as Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent) do not trigger a YES resolution. The appearance must feature new, original footage filmed for Season 4; recycled archive footage, flashbacks using clips from Seasons 1–3, or still photographs do not count toward a YES. The primary source of truth will be the official episode credits of the season streaming on Apple TV+, corroborated by reliable entertainment trade publications such as TVLine or Variety. Background Ted Lasso Season 4 premiered on August 5, 2026, after a three-year hiatus. This season marks a major narrative shift, focusing on AFC Richmond’s newly established women's football team, with Ted Lasso returning to London to coach them. Because of this soft reboot, the male players who formed the core of the team in Seasons 1–3 are not part of the main cast. For example, in Episode 2, it is revealed that superstar Jamie Tartt (Phil Dunster) has transferred to FC Barcelona. While the show retains its classic management/coaching lineup of Ted, Roy, Beard, Rebecca, and Higgins, fans are eagerly watching to see if any of the beloved former squad members will make surprise appearances before the 10-episode season concludes on October 7, 2026.
